Pretty awful--I couldn't bring myself to even watch parts of it, the injuries, the screams, the destruction, it was really terrible.
But I was not sure what lesson I was supposed to draw? That war is terrible and destroys a lot and should be avoided? Does it mean all wars are by definition immoral (a pacifist position)? Luck, other than the sheer horror of the video, what did you have in mind by showing it?
I thought this short article--on the Gaza strip conflict as opposed to the Lebanon bombing last summer--raised a lot of key questions. Check it out if you have time (a student in this class last year sent it to me):
