Okay, so I know I'm a tad bit behind on our readings, but I'm doing it now...
For the criteria of Right Intention in "Just War Theory I: When to Fight, it states that it is difficult to determine an idealist motive for fighting a war sincec there are multiple motives for the action. Then it proceeds by saying that "They may not act primarily or solely for the right, but htey must have some reason, producible on request, for thinking that they are acting for the right, among other things"
What does that mean? They don't have to do it because it's right, but they think it's right?? Confused..please clarify..providing an example may help too..Thanks so much!!
