On the optional question: NO, YOU MAY NOT BRING WHATEVER CASE YOU WISH.
PLEASE PLEASE READ the very long explanation of that question posted below under "final exam: what I said in class on Monday." I neither speak in class nor post things on this VS for my health--you are supposed to listen and/or find out what is said and you are supposed to READ what is written. You may ask questions, but I will not, in the future, answer anything if it's already been clearly answered in class or in another post.
You are limited to ONLY the case studies posted on the web page dealing with aspects of the current financial crisis. There is a story on AIG, there is a story + info on Wall St. bonus payments, there is an article on North County foreclosures.
If you write on other cases, your essay will NOT count at all. Those cases are all required, you don't get extra credit for doing the regular work.
