Basically, he laid off/fired a lot of the higher wage/more experienced workers and moved a lot of the production to mexico, where they hired people for about 10% of what the original employees were making. This caused short term profits and stock to go way up, but may have caused long term harm.
I'm not sure about this, but i think he made about $170 million during the 18 months he owned it (although i might be confusing this with another company)
