I think a much bigger deal with Dunlap wasn't so much as his hurting their long-run abilities, but was the firings. They interviewed a few people who talked about their whole life being with the company, and then the bank essentially ruined their lives so the mutual funds guy (forgot his name) could make a profit. They countered this with the Wahl clippers case where since they were not a publicly traded company the owner was able to not fire them, and actually was friends with them and their kids went to school and stuff. I hope my summary of the movie helps.
