...with all that said, I should tell you more about Bruno. Every tumor that cropped up on Bruno for the first three years of his life, I had removed. Period. And that was about 6 or 7 of them. And not a SINGLE ONE of them had cancer cells in them. Most of them didn't bother him, so we left them alone. He is now 10 years old with so many little cysts and tumor spots on him that I can't count them all. And only two of them have been shown to have cancer cells. And, after some treatment last winter (basically drugging him down with Tramadol every day for a month), the cancer which had caused him so much pain and grief prior to that appears to be in remission. And he's still covered with tumors.
But you said that Missy's tumor was already biosied as "positive" for cancer, right? If that's the case, take 'em off until you take one off that comes back benign.
That's what I did with Dot. And she's still with me, bless her heart (and fighting with Elwood over a toy right now). :)
