Oh well, even on a 'good' year I average two to three thousand in vet bills.

I wonder if the bill will make it through. The folks in DC are going to have to start collecting more at some point. But maybe they'll keep giving it away until after the 2010 elections.

Hey, how many of you remember when you could deduct the interest on credit cards? That would be sweet now. Deduct the vet bill and the interest for the card it was put on.

I was just a kid when they let people deduct the interest on credit cards. I'm not sure when that deduction went away ...probably about the same time ordinary people (as opposed to the rich and business owners) started getting hold of lot of credit cards. My dad had a gas card but I can't remember any of my foster parents having any kind card until the 80's.
