The new cancer pill for dogs

Has anyone heard of this new cancer pill? They had a segment on the Today show about it, I can't remember the name, I believe it started with a p. They had a golden retriever on that was doing really well on the pill and had no side affects. Was wondering if I should bring this up to my Vet but wanted to get your thoughts on it first...
