I'm so sorry for your loss, DW. I hope you are comforted in knowing that even though you did not have Hachi for long, you gave him a wonderful end of life. He knew he was safe, loved, and cared for. I'm sorry he wasn't with you longer, but you did a good thing by taking him in and then when it was time, letting him go. Hugs.
