I'm very leery of leaving collars on dogs who fight. It is too easy for their lower jaw to get caught in the other dog's collar, which is going to make a bad situation even worse. The best way to seperate them is to go from behind...loop your arm under their stomach (in front of the back legs), lift and swing the dog away - if need be, carry to dog this way to another room. Never put your hands near their head or neck during a brawl like this, or you are likely to be accidentally bitten, and badly. Gary, how is it going?
