: I remember Miss Davis so well. She taught typing my senior (and only) year at Fairview. I loved that dear lady and have thought of her so many times over the years. She encouraged me and that made me try ever harder to please her. I know she must have a very special place in heaven. Because of her and the fact I could type I was placed in Communications during my tour in the Marine Corps. I was a Radio-Teletype-Telegrah Operator. It might not have been the best job in the Corps, but it sure beat being a "Grunt".
