The Virginia Waves located in the Tidewater area are always looking for energetic, enthusiastic and committed athletes.
The coaching staff emphasizes building a competitive fast pitch travel softball team while providing an enjoyable environment for players to develop softball skills, knowledge and the ability to function as a team.
In addition, the Waves build upon family and those relationships not only the players generate but also the relationships our parents build among themselves.
The Waves is one of the few organizations that have both indoor and outdoor dedicated facilities providing year round training.
Funding is a mixture of fund raisers, sponsorship and player fees (there is no bingo).
The Virginia Waves will be having upcoming tryouts for the 2008/2009 season.
