My daughter has been pitching for 3 or 4 years. She worked on mechanics and placement first. Now she works on those things plus speed and spin. I've found that because she has very good mechanics, she doesn't get tired, or more importantly, injured or sore, no matter how many games she pitches in a weekend. The most important thing about an instructor is who your daughter is comfortable with. We're lucky in that there are several good ones in our area!
