I hate to break this to you, but you're never going to see too many college coaches at the 16u level, especially if there are 18s nearby. There are enough freshman and sophomores playing at the 18u level that there is no need to go over to the 16u level. I am good friends with many college coaches and have had several conversations about this very thing with big name schools down to smaller JUCOs, and they all say basically the same thing. "If the girls were worth looking at right now, they'd be playing 18u"....that's not saying that the girls playing 16u won't ever be worth looking at, its just that 16u is typically the weakest level in all the age groups, and they would rather spend their time watching the kids who are playing good competition.
