I also agree the person selected is not qaulified to host/direct a tournament. His knowledge of the rules are limited and his reputation in the area is poor. If softballnation is looking for a step up, this is the wrong person for the job. As far as a coach, organizational manager hosting a tournament, I think that is ok; but, being a regional director is not cool.
Also, please keep the comments clean and above board. Attacking him for what he wears is a little low. Bring to light his claims that may or may not have been exxagerated is ok as it lends to the man and his ability to be honest.
Butch, keep Daryl as the person in south hampton roads and if he wants to stay north of the bridge, work on getting another person on the southside.
