I am surprised that Softball Nation has allowed this topic to spin out of control and not pulled the plug or made a statement themselves. It is obvious that there are major concerns about the choice of the new Tournament Director. I see the conflict of interest point raised early on in this discussion and agree that if he is the GM of an organization that none of his organizations teams should be allowed to play in tournaments he is the Director of. It is also quite obvious that personal opinions of this man have become more of an issue in discussion than the conflict of interest, and that is a problem in and of itself. I would like to see Softball Nation address the concerns raised about their new Tournament Director and outline how his new Tidewater's Best organization falls inline with Softball Nation. Lastly, think about what you post on here and remember that players, their parents and other coaches read these comments as well. The players on the Crush teams play for the love of the game just like the girls on every other team. I certainly hope the attitudes and opinions expressed here don't influence players, parents and coaches on other teams to talk negatively about the girls playing in the Crush organization. That would be ashame!
