"teams were informed there was a possibility that they would have to play Friday night" possibility is the key word here. you were already in Fl., quit your b###hing and enjoy the nice weather. 4. good point, you're 1 for 4. 5. looking at the start times, teams from fl played teams from out of state in most of the games. how was this an unfair advantage? so umpires don't need a break? they are on their feet the whole game, they don't get to sit down between innings. if in fact he was doing it so a player could show up then yes it is wrong. but if he truly needed a break then so be it. usually they do have 2 umpires on every field. obviously there was a shortage this year. 6. see bottom half of 5. and i'm sure that you don't miss church on sundays, you're team doesn't usually make it thru Sat.

1. they keep their options open in case they have too many teams to play it in two days. did you make your travel plans last week or last month?
2. championship games are scheduled in advance, however, games do run long and other circumstances come up that delay that start.
