Today has to have been the hottest day this season so not a big turnout - who could blame anyone! It was so hot, Roscoe took quite a few swims!
Thanks to all who came today though - we got lots of ground covered for future plans and so much more to do!
Alicia is putting up a mister system at her place so that's most likely the best spot locally to have our next meeting if it's outdoors and offered to even hold it inside the house if needed! Now that's a dedicated bulldogger - willing to have 20+ bulldogges in the house so we can have a meeting!
I am so proud of our team - We've come a long way in 4 years from 3 of us (only Jodie and I remain from the original three) to a mailing list of over 60 families and bulldoggers in AZ!
Jodie and DeeDee have done and are continuing to do great things for our future plans - we may have 7 months before our show, but interest is getting more intense with each hour of work that is put in. Alicia is down to one last puppy from my Rio Bravo's Zeus and her My Bulldogges Shelby so will be able to attend much more and help more too!
Thanks to all of our members and board for putting so much into the club! It's most rewarding to see so many others so excited and full of energy despite the nasty AZ heat!
Next Meeting will be the Weekend of May 29th - most likely Friday or Saturday night to escape the heat. Arizona summers can bring temps of up to 127 degrees (not sure what the record is, but it gets hotter every year) and we are very limited to what we can do in the summer and the winters are full of Holidays to work around
The next meeting will be posted when we finalize the date - it was just too hot today to finish even though we started much earlier
THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED!
Terri
