BICESTER TOWN FC will go down, the new squad looks no better than the last one. 1st impressions of the new manager are not encouraging. After some promising performances particularly 2nd halfs he has scrapped the entire defence and brought in 3 worse, unfit players (credit to 1 lad he looks half decent.)
We had some good players that will leave the club in the near future if they haven't already because of the manager making clearance changes and that isn't good for any club.
As a club we are a shambles, we have no local support, which is because we have no local players, we have no local players because of the management, this leads to no support from the community, no sponsors, no funds and no club.
We NEED NOW to be encouraging local support from Bicester not alienating the locals, and this starts with trying to groom local talent,
“….provide a centre of football excellence for the community”. Not Abingdon and Witney reserves.
Look at the club strategy the new manager has torn this up in our faces, it makes a mockery of everything the club apparently stands for.
I for one am sick of the new manager already, he doesn't have the best interests of the club in heart or mind and is trying a quick fix which WILL go wrong just to try further a career (dream).
The club is a complete joke and Nick Harverson and Kevin Leach should read the clubs strategic plan, they will quickly realise that they will not achieve that the way the club is being run at the moment.
Really what is the point of a new website when the clubs foundations are bring destroyed from within.
Get a grip Bicester the town deserves better.
