Our ministry has not taken us out of California. We have wanted to go other places, but never had the time or money. Now, since I have been put out to pasture by my employer, I have the time but do not have the funds at the moment. I am sure God will provide for travels if it is to be.
We attend 2 rallies here in the Fresno area, one in April and one in October. There are other places we go but not on a regular basis. I will be conducting the church service at the rally in October. Looking forward to that.
We ride on occasion with CMA, (Christian Motorcyclists Assn.) and attend what are called "Teddy Bear Rides." We get the name of a child from the local children's hospital, who has been through a great trauma, then take a Teddy dressed in motorcycle leathers with the CMA patch on it, a bible that is age appropriate, a muppet show, a pic nic for all their friends and then the child gets to pick the motorcycle he or she wants to ride on. It is a great time of ministry, as we have visited children who have never even heard of a bible or Jesus.
