AC James sits backstage, having just kicked the s**t out of a monitor, said-device laying on the floor, plastic cracked, glass shattered. James, his nose bruised and bloodied, his eyes slightly swollen, his lip fat, shakes his head and sighs....
"I thought I gave 100 percent tonight, but it looks like I didn't." James begins, "And I'm not saying that because I lost to a guy who's only BARELY considered an 'active wrestler'.....I say that because, well, I can beat anyone on any given night, and quite frankly, tonight I didn't do that.....FACT!"
"So where do I go from here...?" James continues, before wiping at his seemingly-broken, bloodied nose, "Do I retreat and retire...or do I take this loss in my stride and make a fist of the future?"
"Honestly, no-matter what the haters or critics may ever say about me, one thing they CAN'T say, is that I'm a QUITTER." James says, sneering, "I've wrestled damn-near every card for the last, what, 4 years? At LEAST that amount of time....and I haven't quit yet. I haven't taken a break, a sojourn, a hiatus......I haven't "died" or been "murdered"....injury is something I've battled-through and failure is something I've never feared. So now that I've lost to Senester.....what do I do?! I start again, and you know why?? Because no-matter if Talon, Eddie, or Hans holds the belt, ever since I won that title I've been the motherf**king MAN. FACT. No man worked harder for that belt, and no man can even come close to my worth as not just a champion.....but as a competitor. Gold-or-not, I'm still here, being the best I can be, and that's BETTER than anyone else on this f**king roster, win, lose or draw!"
James scoffs, smiles and nods.
"The future's like this: I'm gonna get a rematch with Senester and kick his f**king a$$, Eddie's gonna get his a$$, d*ck and every other appendage handed to him for being so goddamn stupid since winning, and now LOSING, the HWA Title, and Hans.....you're on notice, son. 'Til you beat me in a title match, you haven't....done.....s**t."
"I'm still here, f**kers, and I'm still as tough as ever." James says, smirking, "This career ain't over by a long-shot."
James rubs at his nose some more, still smirking. Shot fades out.
