(Gabriel): This…is…boring….
Michael turns to look at his brother, raising a reproving eyebrow in his direction.
(Michael): This is important, Gabriel, the HWA's tag team division is in complete disarray and if we can get to grips with what the teams in this company are capable, we can make our mark against the Sons of Anarchy and go straight for the jugular in no time at all.
Gabriel nods approvingly, before his face transitions from that to a painful grimace as he points to the screen with a wag of a thumb.
(Gabriel): Well if this is anything to go by, it's not going to be much of a challenge, judging by what I'm watching. Who are these guys again?
(Michael): Anton and Davis, aka DNA. They're former tag team champions actually.
Gabriel's expression looks even more shocked.
(Gabriel): I don't like to judge a book by its cover but are you actually kidding me?
Michael looks at his brother with a benevolent nod.
(Michael): I'm afraid so. They're associates of Eddie K apparently; y'know, the former World Champion? He brought them in about a year ago I think.
(Gabriel): If this…
Gabriel points to the screen, emphasising his point.
(Gabriel): Is what they're capable of, I'm surprised HWA even entertains them with a pay check.
(Michael): Let's not get too cocky now, they might turn in a performance expected from the likes of the Motor City Machine Guns the first time we face them.
Gabriel just turns his head and looks at his younger brother disparagingly. Michael smiles.
(Michael): Hypothetically.
Gabriel grins as he turns his attentions back to the screen which has now gone back to the DVD home screen.
(Gabriel): Did we miss the end of the match? I didn't even hear a crowd pop…whose next?
Michael lifts up a DVD remote control and hits the next chapter button that skips to a new match. Michael squints, trying to see who's in the ring.
(Michael): Looks like the Hardcore Icons, Bryan Deas and Maniac. These are the guys who haven't been getting on lately. This Deas character seems to have been here for quite a long time and Maniac has come and gone over the years, a former World Champion as it stands aswell.
The two brothers scrutinise the match, Michael scribbling notes on an A5-sized notepad. As the match ends, Gabriel turns to Michael.
(Gabriel): What do you think then?
Michael raises his eyebrows and let’s a lungful of air gush out.
(Michael): Well...I don’t think they’re going to last as a tag team for much longer. Their chemistry is nowhere to be seen, their signature moves are all over the place.
(Gabriel): So, who do we have left? Are there many teams left?
(Michael): The only other, apart from the Sons of Anarchy are the champions themselves, Terrorist and Tenacious.
Gabriel has a puzzled look on his face.
(Gabriel): Terrorist and Tenacious?
(Michael): Yeah?
Gabriel maintains his perplexed expression.
(Gabriel): That…doesn’t make any sense…it’s like a verb….and an adjective…
(Michael): Yeah anyway, they seem to be the most dangerous team we will have to look out for. They’re incredibly crafty, and reliant on each other despite their morals and points of view, they are a very good team.
(Gabriel): Still, they seem a little…radical…
(Michael): Very true, and that’s probably where we’ll benefit the most…
(Gabriel): I have to say though; I’m a little disappointed our opponents haven’t been more vocal. They started out so sure of themselves and now they seem to have just petered out into nothing.
(Michael): I wouldn’t worry too much brother. We’ll take care of business the same way we would if they had broadcasting promo after promo…
(Gabriel): Damn right we will.
The two brothers fist bump each other and continue their preparation as the scene fades out.
