Shakir: How did you know?
Voice: Your goal is to be like he was in his prime. The Messenger of death, God’s personal assassin…. You fantasize about having the mantle of the Messenger and all of the glory that comes with it. You dream that people will fear you but yet hate you with the passion they hated him. You want them to respect you out of fear…. Don’t be afraid to reach out and take what it is that you have desired for so very long! The materialistic title belts have no interest to you like they do your counter part Curt Evers. The title of the Messenger is what interest you, it goes beyond all of the material riches all the others are so concerned and hell bent on achieving. You want the mantle this is what you will have to do to achieve it, destroy what remains of him! Burn whats left to ashes so that you might rise reborn in the ashes of him to be like he once was.
Shakir: The only thing that remains of the wretched thing he became is Talon Wilkinson.
Voice: Do everything possible to aid Curt Evers in fending Wilkinson off, we must keep the frail thing at the bottom of the ladder for as long as possible. We must buy time for the transformation that is to come. Allah is finished with Wilkinson he has no further use of him but we are not, he is a sacrifice that must be bled completely of all his sins.
Shakir: What do you wish for me to do?
Voice: Deliver a Message to him…. Let him know the word of Allah! This is but a small task that you must do to further prove yourself to Allah.
Shakir: I thought Allah was finished with him?
Voice: He is fool but you are not! Allah has more important things to do then to pay feeble helpless Wilkinson any attention, its up to you now to vulture what you can from the weak Wilkinson and pick his bones clean to nourish the black seed that has been planted within your heart. If you fail to complete the trials there is another that will take your place….
Shakir: Who? Curt Evers?
Voice: No pitiful Curt is to weak to take the mantle of the Messenger…
Shakir: Then who?
Voice: He is currently on the roster and a very unlikely candidate at that, that is all you need to know. Now go track Wilkinson down and do the task assigned to you!
Shakir closes his eyes before setting out to his task
Shakir is standing outside a graveyard his cell phone rings he pulls it from his pocket and sees that its Curt he reluctantly answers it turning the speaker phone on.
Shakir: Hello?
Curt Evers: Where the hell are you at?
Shakir: On a journey of enlightenment.
Curt Evers: When you coming back we have training to do, we need to be ready to defend our belts against any and all who challenge. I refuse to lose again! Especially to that American piece of sh1t Talon Wilkinson!
Shakir: You will not lose your title friend it is not time.
Curt Evers: When is the time Shakir? Huh?! When is the fuking time?!
Shakir: Your beginning to crack under the pressure of being spotlight and tag champ aren’t you friend….
Curt Evers: The world is against us and we have no chance of staying at the top if we split up like this.
Shakir: I won’t be gone much longer, look if the infidels heard you talking like this they will certainly flock to you trying to snatch whatever they can from you .
Curt Evers: They already know! I’m tired of doing all these assignments for Senester I just want to focus on retaining my titles and making money.
Shakir: Your not in a good place right now friend, your beginning to lose focus I will return shortly to ensure your focus returns. We are in this together remember we succeed together and we fail together that was Allah’s words.
Curt Evers: Just hurry up will you? We need to regroup and rethink our plans we need to get our heads back into the game.
Shakir: We will friend.
Curt Evers: Alright well I will see you when you get back.
Shakir hangs up and pockets his cell phone the sly Arabic scans the graveyard looking the area over. He begins walking through the grave yard silently and with haste searching for a particular tombstone it doesn’t take long for him to find it. The evil Arabian warrior looks down at the tombstone his eyes focus in on the name etched across it, Michael Dredge.
Shakir: Is this the real grave? So many I have searched and every single one of them turn out to be false! I must find the true Dark Messenger Bible the one that foretells the complete prophecy of Allah’s word. Again I must dig the earth in hopes to find the true book of Allah.
Shakir goes over to the caretakers shed and bust the lock on the door he steps into the old beat up shack and begins searching for a shovel he finds one that is old rusted and the wooden shaft is broken in half. Shakir snatches the shovel and goes back to the grave and begins to dig frantically he shovels the soil like a machine for hours until he hits a hard surface he uproots the casket deep within the soil and plants a small explosive charge on it to blow the vault open that holds the casket within. He opens the casket and only finds a single page within it. He holds the page up and reads it and at the top it reads Book of The Damned and has no words of Allah on it but words of what he deems to be a false prophet he turns the page over and looks at the back of it and it reads.
The Death of yourself leads to the death of another together you will be reborn a new. The old life you live dies here this day, at this very spot you are now nothing, you don’t exist, your of no value and the only way to become of value is to begin the journey to claim your new life to prove if you are worthy of the breath of God. Go to the place of Reflection and search for your new life.
Shakir drops the page back into the casket before walking off
Sometime later Shakir arrives at a large warehouse he walks up to one of the side entrances and turns the door knob checking to see if its locked but it isn’t and the door just swings open, Shakir immediately crouches low his eyes narrowing. His instincts tell him it’s a trap, an ambush but Shakir presses on he notices rather quickly there are mirrors every where all across the walls and dangling from the ceilings each one a different shape and a different size, the floor is one large mirror. The light flicker on and off at a constant rhythm, as Shakir makes it to a stair way he sees a page taped to the door he reaches up and peels it from the door still crouched low he looks at the front of the page and it says Page 24 Book of The Damned he skims the front page continuing to see the same blasphemous words written on it he turns the page over to its back and finds further clues by whats written on the back of it.
Make your journey through the world of reflection, see what I see, know what I know, do as I do. Our destinies are intertwined, our souls mesh perfectly together fitting like the last two pieces of a complex puzzle. Walk amongst the fog of lies become one with deception, embrace the shroud as he once did.
The lights suddenly all shut out through out the complex Shakir can’t see an inch of front of himself he drops the page before turning around reaching out with his hands infront of him to feel his way through the darkness, Shakir senses a trap at the stair way so he goes back the way he came occasionally startled by a mirror that swings lightly into him hanging from the ceiling. Shakir makes his way to a door finally and twist the knob it slowly creaks open the sly Arabic slips through the door and tries to silently close the door behind him but his attempt was failed by the sudden popping noises emitted from the doors hinges . Emergency lights pop on in the room giving just enough light for Shakir to see mirrors covering every wall and one large mirror making the ceiling. Shakir looks up at the ceiling he doesn’t know why its just an urge and as he looks at himself he notices a small orb of light flickers to life and appears to be behind him he instinctively turns to look behind him but nothing is there by the time he looks back into the mirror the light is slowly moving to the corner of the room Shakir curious follows it, Shakir looks the corner of the room up and down not knowing what to do not seeing any clues of any sort as to anything suspicious being here. Aside from the mirrors this room is empty with nothing in it, Shakir looks back up at the ceiling mirror and sees a Dark Robed figure standing in the exact same spot he is in. Shakir wearing the black hooded robes of the Dark Messenger himself has his hood back revealing his face but the one in the mirror its hood is up covering its identity .
Shakir: Can you hear me?
The robed figure looking directly at Shakir tilts its head
Shakir: Who are you? Are you the one that I was told about? The one that will be my replacement?
The robed figure continues to look at Shakir in silence
Shakir: What is this place? ANSWER ME!
The dark robed figure turns around and slowly walks off no longer paying Shakir any attention what so ever, as the robed figure walks he slowly melds into an orb of light that shrinks down to nothingness. Shakir then sees robed figure popping up in every mirror on the wall the gaze of death looking upon the sly Arabic with intent to kill. Shakir slowly begins to walk backwards inching his way to the door and then suddenly burst into a full lunge towards the door but the door is now locked. Shakir begins to frantically kick the door but it doesn’t budge he pulls and tugs at the door knob twisting with all his might but the door knob doesn’t give an inch he turns around and he spots a wooden cross on the ground, beside it there is a bottle of oil and beside that is a little hand held cassette player. Shakir walks over to it and inspects the cross first he doesn’t recognize any significance about it then looks at the bottle of oil which seems to bee far heavier then a normal bottle of oil should be. Finally Shakir bends down and picks the cassette player up pops it open to see if a tape is in it but there isn’t intead there is a small folded piece of paper, Shakir picks the paper out of it and unfolds it.
Make your choice God or one of your tools of Death.
Shakir suddenly realizing the cassette player isn’t in fact a cassette player but a remote to detonate the explosives packed into that oil bottle. Shakir begins to think of how he could blow the door open with the oil bottle but he doesn’t know the exact yield of the explosives packed into that oil bottle, it could kill him for all he knows it could bring this entire building down. His faith to Allah Lord Senester over rides his natural ability to survive completely so Shakir grabs the cross and leaves the cassette and oil bottle there. Suddenly the door swings open releasing him from his prison, Shakir pockets the cross and makes his way out the door. As shakir wonders the large complex he searches on in total darkness unable to see he finds himself wondering down a large hall way and notices posters of him and Curt tapped to the walls and each side door over the countless mirrors in the hall way. Shakir then sees one door that doesn’t have a poster taped to it he enters that door and finds himself in a room that has large mirror panels covering the entirety of the four walls in that room, the ceiling however is a complete blacked out mirror. The emergency lights here flicker on and off and he finds another cassette player laying in the center of the room he walks over to it and inspects it he pops it open and a small tape is in it he hits play and a voice begins talking through the cassette player.
Voice: Hello I see you have passed your first test of faith but will you pass the next test is the question. While your counter part Curt Evers has had only one goal in mind to achieve greatness and glory you have claimed you live only for Allah. If you truly live for Allah then that means you have no physical attachments in this world, you have even taken upon my offer to be reborn into a new life in doing so you will have to burn away not just the last memory of “HIM” but the last memory of the person you was born onto this earth as. Fire purifies all it is unbiased not prejudice it shows no favoritism or mercy. You have killed and wounded many in your life but I ask you this would you kill your own blood to prove your loyalty to your god? Or would you rather kill yourself? Make your choice walk by faith or by sight…….
The mirrored wall panels pop open revealing Shakir’s family shackled to a stone wall and drenched in gasoline a small metal nozzle is pointed downward at them from the ceiling and then suddenly the black ceiling mirror opens up and a gun revolver mounted from the ceiling is aimed directly at Shakir as well as a two chains drop from the ceiling before him one painted in red the other painted in black. The black one has a picture of his family on it while the red one has a picture of himself on it. His family screams out talking in their native language for him to save them in between each family member is digital clocks that begin to count down from 60. Shakir for the first time in his life has hesitations and doubts about taking a life, his emotions rage within him he doesn’t want to kill his family but he doesn’t want to die either. He always pictured spending his entire life with them but also set the goal to become the next Dark Messenger. His devotion to Allah over rides everything else and when the timer hits 6 he pulls the black chain and his family is sprayed down with fire burning them alive their screams sends chills through Shakir’s spine and apart of him dies that very moment. A piece of paper falls from the darkness above and lands softly at his feet he picks it up and notices it to be another page to that blasphemous book of the damned he instantly turns the page on its back and begins reading it.
Was that your family you just killed or was that some unfortunate fools made to look like your family? Plastic surgery and its wonders are amazing but whats more amazing is what a man will do and sacrifice for the one he calls God. Will you ever discover the truth as to if you murdered your own family or not? No because it does not matter you chose to try to take the mantle of the Dark Messenger and as such now you must live with the sacrifices that are required . The Path to the Dark Messenger has just begun more sacrifices are required .
Shakir releases the paper and watches it fall softly back to the floor with a dead look in his eyes before exiting the room as Shakir enters back into the hall way a loud speaker on the ceiling cuts on and that same voice is heard.
Voice: Let me be your guiding light in this tunnel of darkness you travel.
Suddenly the Lights begin to light up in the hall way one at a time as Shakir begins to slowly follow them the lights lead him directly back to that stair way. Shakir knows that he must go through that door and move up to the next level. So he opens the door and begins to climb the stars to the second level he goes through the door and finds another hall way before him and finds another page of the Damned. Shakir picks it up from the floor and reads the back of it
There are many doors here for you to choose from but know if you choose the wrong one it will lead to your death, only one door will lead you to the promised land. Make your choice walk by faith or by sight.
The lights cut off and then the emergency lights activate giving a dim light Shakir pulls out the cross and studies it for a moment then looks at all the doors in the hall way leading into another room each room could lead to the promised land but which one he isn’t for certain so he begins to investigate the first door he looks at it carefully. It appears as if someone has carved on this door and on its reads Genesis. Shakir moves to the next door it has nothing carved on it and he moves to the next this one has Revelation . Shakir looks across to the next door it has nothing carved on it either so he walks down the hall and sees another door that has Exodus carved on it. The next door has nothing carved on it and then the two doors at the end of the hall way both have carvings one saying King Solomon and the other saying King David .
Shakir: This makes no sense! How am I to know which is the right one? These aren’t clues!
Shakir goes to the three doors with nothing carved in it he studies the first one it looks like an old door the knob looks tarnished and dented and it wobbles. Shakir then moves to the second door and investigates it he notices this door has a bolt lock on it unlike all of the other doors that just have the typical door knob lock. The door knob here looks to be made of glass he then moves to the final unmarked door which has a small thin chain draped over its door knob it hangs loosely from the door and at the two ends hangs a single key on each end. Shakir takes the chain from the door he looks at them confused and then it hits him the door he needs to go through is Genesis because he feels this is his Genesis his beginning, his new life.
Shakir: That was easy.
Shakir walks over to the Genesis door and places the first key into the lock it doesn’t fit so he pulls it out and places the second key into the lock it doesn’t fit either. Shakir then tries to open the door but its locked he begins to kick at it but it doesn’t budge.
Shakir: What in the… How can this be?!
Shakir looks back to the cross as if it will give him the answer he seeks.
Shakir: Walk by Faith or by Sight… Things are not what they appear to be. Maybe Genesis wasn’t the right one, maybe this is what whomever wanted me to think so I could walk into my death. Or maybe it is the right one but is just made to not look like the right one on purpose in hopes that I will blindly walk into another room only to die. I cant test these keys on other doors for the fear of setting off a deadly trap upon unlocking them, I am stuck in this building as it stands right now and I can’t remain undecided forever or I will rot in this forsaken place!
