(Michael): Did you ever think for one moment we'd one day be wrestling in Madison Square Garden, Gabriel?
Gabriel maintains his meditative posture, a small subtle smile lightly creeping across his face the only sign that he actually heard what Michael had said and his eyes flit up to gaze around the unfilled arena for a second.
(Gabriel): It's quite a sight to say the least, Michael. We can't afford to be star-struck though; we go out here in a few days time, there's going to be twenty thousand-plus die-hard wrestling fans here. If we walk out that curtain and get caught like a couple of rabbits in the headlights, we might aswell just hand Anton and Davis the number one contendership.
An unusually confident snort escapes Michael's nose as he taps his finger tips together.
(Michael): I think we both know that isn't going to happen. Granted we were slightly off-color against Fallen and Draconis for whatever reason, I don't know but this is a different kettle of fish. They say a skilled opponent brings out the best in you so we can only hope that Anton and Davis bring whatever their definition of best is on New Year's Eve.
(Gabriel): Just think about all the great events that have taken place here, Michael; all the heartaches and triumphs that have transpired in this arena. And we can finally etch our names into the history books when we come out here.
Michael nods in agreement, smiling.
(Michael): Yes, this is quite the defining moment of our careers thus far, Gabriel and there will be many more to come after this, I can assure you of that.
Gabriel looks at his brother, raising his head off of his clasped hands and places them on his knees, a surprised expression cutting across his face.
(Gabriel): What happened to the cautious approach and not getting overconfident? Thought that was my job?
Michael utters a light almost indistinguishable chuckle.
(Michael): I'm not overconfident, just saying we're going to have many defining moments in our careers after Fatality, s'all. Am I not allowed to be positive?
(Gabriel): I'll let you off this time. Anyway, by the looks of it, the engineers are starting their work on the ring and the stage, we should probably get out of here.
Gabriel motions down toward the ring area where several man in hard hats and tool-belts wrapped around their waists have started to make an appearance through the arena.
(Michael): Yeah, you're probably right. Fancy grabbing a beer or something?
Gabriel's surprised expression increases.
(Gabriel): You sure you're feeling alright brother? Extra positive vibes instead of the usual cautious cat approach and now wanting to go for a beer?
(Michael): Well it's not every day we get to spend New Years in New York City, and besides, I've been known to drink before! It's not like I'm tee total!
Gabriel eyes his older brother with humorous suspicion, narrowing his eyes mockingly.
(Gabriel): Hmmm…like I said, I'll let you off this time. You're buying the beer though.
(Michael): Naturally.
The two brothers continue their jovial conversation as they take their leave of Madison Square Garden for the time being, the scene concluding and fading to black.
