(Hans): Right, I've only got time for a few more otherwise I'll miss my flight.
He points at one of the reporters.
(Hans): Right, what's yours?
(Reporter 1): It looked tense during your match at times there Hans, seemed you were suffering due to your bad bruising. How much of that was actual pain, and how much of it was playing it up though?
Hans' tongue prods the inside of his cheek momentarily, while his eyes dart to the right and down as he thinks on his response.
(Hans): Half and half. I'd been given some time in an oxygen tent the three days before Havoc, so the blood flow was back, and I wasn't as restricted as I was earlier on in the week, but I got caught several times out there.
(Reporter 1): How were you feeling towards the end?
(Hans): I've felt worse, but it's unpleasant to have shooting pains in your flank at all times. I was biting my tongue when it came to getting Gabriel to charge at the end of the match, let me tell you.
A second reporter elbows forward, aiming a mic at Hans.
(Reporter 2): Any words for Gabriel, Hans?
(Hans): Commiserations, he fought very well, and if it had been anyone else but me, I'd have been quite upset that he didn't manage to get the win. He should certainly consider singles action in the future once he and his brother have established themselves at the top of the tag-team division.
Hans gestures at a third reporter.
(Reporter 3): Can you explain why you and Butch did what you did to the NWO?
(Hans): Simple. They had their fun last week, interfering in matches and 'putting us on notice'. This was Butch and myself putting them on notice. Neither of us take kindly to interference. And neither are we much impressed with people thinking that just because you say and act like something is already yours in all but name, that it somehow entitles you to it.
He adjusts the shoulder strap on his bag into a more comfortable position.
(Hans): Hence why we had a few jokes at their expense.
(Reporter 3): Eddie K certainly didn't seem to see it that way. He thought that the 'GAY-Team' trailer was none to clever.
(Hans): Eddie's up for a laugh when it's not at his expense, but the 'GAY-Team' wasn't done by myself. I thought it was Butch who had done it, and he thought that I had! *Laughs* Maybe it was AC after all?
(Reporter 1): Are you saying that not everything that the NWO suffered was down to you and Butch?
(Hans): Correct. For sure, we sent Hogan a thoughtful 'gift'. We sent them the tarantula… not that we forced them to open its box of course! The same goes for the tin of paint on top of my locker room door. It did clearly say 'do not enter' on the sign I left…
(Reporter 1): You forgot to mention the memo addressed to Ronnie McNeil.
(Hans): No I didn't.
He smiles, clearly enjoying himself.
(Hans): I set up the paint pot since Ronnie seems to have a habit of finding himself on the other side of the door from myself, but I was hoping he'd find himself unable to resist trying to get in another attack on me like at 'Fatality'…
A reporter cuts across Hans.
(Reporter 4): So are you saying that you didn't send the memo?
(Hans): That's what I'm saying, yeah.
(Reporter 4): Do you have any idea who did?
(Hans): Not a clue. My locker room's on the same corridor as most of the others on the roster, so maybe one of them saw what I was doing and thought they'd have some fun. Could have been one of the back stage crew perhaps…
He trails off laughing.
(Hans): At any rate, I got no small measure of satisfaction from seeing him covered in blue paint for the rest of the show.
(Reporter 1): Do you have anything to say about his niece?
(Hans): I hope she gets home safe and sound.
One of the first reporters jumps back in with another question.
(Reporter 2): Was it intentional that the the tarantula wasn't a venomous one?
Hans gives him a look of pure scorn, as if wondering why such a question was even asked.
(Hans): Of course.
He lets the derision seep into his words directed at the reporter.
(Hans): We don't want to poison anyone, or endanger lives unnecessarily. We wanted to humiliate them in front of millions, and we did just that.
He glances down at his watch.
(Hans): Look, I'll take one more question, and then I'm off.
He points at another reporter, who immediately begins.
(Reporter 5): You've got Davis next week for the World Title Lottery Hans. Lots of ill-feeling between you two from back in 2008 and early 2009, but it's tapered off since. How are you feeling about facing off against him?
(Hans): I'm quite happy his name was drawn out of the tumbler, as you say, there's a lot of ill-feelings between us, primarily down to him throwing his dummy out of the pram over the tag team situation I had with Anton at the time, so it'll be nice to show that without his partner, he's not got a chance in hell against me.
With that, Hans pushes through the reporters, and heads for the exit as the scene fades to black.
