"And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it." (Deuteronomy 28:63)
Senester is in his office and grabs his phone dialing Hans’ cell phone. He waits and ultimately receives the answering machine.
(Senester): Allow me to first say Herr Hans that this rather unfortunate incident with your car had nothing to do with me nor Dark Horse Inc. Clearly you have made an unfavorable impression on someone. In any event….I hope you realize the level of attention you have drawn to yourself in the media, and how this incident will be viewed in the eyes of the courts who have the HWA under a microscope. I also trust that the contents of your “envelope” contain nothing that would shed an unjust light on this company. That being said, it would appear that you and Herr Heinrich are in good health and will be ready to compete at Helloween Harvest.
As much as this past Havoc provided to be an impromptu show in the end… I would suggest that we delivered a more than satisfying performance for the masses. I particularly enjoyed your match with Mr. Neilson. I daresay it set the stage for the evening. The pace was thrilling. You began slowly as familiar combatants and as the match continued... your supreme skills ignited his determination to win. The blood began to flow, the frustration began to mount, and the aggression began to rise. Contrary to the referee’s impressions, there was no way I was going to end this match so…prematurely. Then, when Talon came out to make the announcement…his very presence brought a depth to this confrontation that escalated it to new heights. I saw the fans in the arena come to their feet as you and Mr. Neilson bludgeoned one another, but in the end it was your athletic superiority that ended the match.
Even after a loss I believe Mr. Neilson was feeling the adrenaline surge in his veins. Clearly the emotions of recent events fresh in his mind. He wanted to confront Talon but you interjected and it was Mr. McNeil with a cheap assault that took the shot Logan had hoped for. What were you thinking when you saw them there? Mr. Neilson clearly unappreciative of the gesture and the champ himself no doubt feeling disrespected as usual. Why did you stop him? Why didn’t you let him go and do what it was he wanted to do? Were you trying to save him from Talon, from McNeil…or from himself? Why?
Senester looks at his watch, assuming only a few moments of record time remain.
(Senester): As far as Helloween Harvest goes. You’re only in this match as a buffer for Talon to use against McNeil and regain the HWA Championship. You were a good champion Herr Hans. McNeil is proving to be little more of a champion than he was his first reign, rather than the rooster ruling the hen house while he has the gold he’s sitting on his egg like a common chicken. Talon will be a great champion and once again HWA will have a symbol of excellence at the helm… “My Reflection of Perfection.” The Seraphim himself. After Helloween Harvest Herr Hans…you and I have some business to attend to. You and I have some history to revisit, and a future to design. It pains me to clip the wings of one of my greatest angels, but the disappointment is nothing new, and the task is fitting of the defiance. We are at the start of this road Herr Hans, we haven’t even come to the fork, let alone the end. I can assure you, just as you may attempt to assure me that there will be many sharp curves along the way, but let your current predicament be an omen to you. When I travel down a road, I always cross the finish line, and I will leave you behind to brush off the embers, and pick up the pieces of your vehicle that I have destroyed.
Senester hangs up and the scene ends.
