He’s holding his big belly and roaring Ho….Ho….Ho. Maniac staggers up with shit on his face and in his hair and Santa flings him against the wall and lays into him with "Seasons Beatings" (flurry of punches in the corner followed by a big splash).
Vanessa’s dad has jumped up on his feet deep into the action, having shoved a chicken wing in his mouth he’s grunting, swinging his arms in punching motions as Santa delivers the “Seasons Beatings.”
(Mom): Oh good lord, will you sit down.
(Dad): That’s right…lay it on him boy! Erm…yeah….
As he comes in for the splash Maniac blasts him in the face with a fireball and his beard catches fire. Santa frantically pats at his beard and Maniac grabs a pipe from the floor and cracks him over the skull. He goes for the cover and the referee is there and counts 1………………. 2…………………3. Suddenly a piece of chicken goes flying towards the television and he’s given the evil eye before he picks it up and sits back down a bit less animated.
(Dad): That boy’s as sneaky as a gator in the marsh…I tell you what.
(Mom): And you’re about as sloppy as one…get the rest of those crumbs up Mr.
Several minutes pass and their well into the match they’ve waited for seeing their daughter’s return to the ring. Her dad is excited once more swinging his arms with excitement as Vanessa locks Ally up in a painful submission hold. Talon is soon to the ring to interject with his two cents followed by Hans who takes control of the situation with a level head preventing Vanessa from injuring Ally further which she’d only regret later.
(Mom): Can’t even mind his own business…look at ‘em. Coming down there all high on the hog. You don’t see Vanessa jumping in his matches, tellin’ him how to handle his business.
(Dad): Hesh-up woman. You know good and well he did the right thing. Vanessa would have broke that lil-ole gal, and never forgiven herself.
(Mom): I suppose.
The show progresses and her mom pays little attention to most of the rest of it, heading off into the kitchen to prepare dinner while.
(Mom): Are you satisfied now? Look what you did….look what you did! I’m coming to get my little girl, the doctors here will take care of her. She belongs here with her family not you. I have a mind to sue. Sue you, sue that whole gosh-darn company. If I wasn’t a good Christian woman, I’d curse you from here to next Sunday. You and your kind do nothing but bring harm to others. You put her in harms way, you gave her this disease thing she’s got inside her. That should be you, you hear me….it should be you. We’re coming to get her and don’t you try and stop us!
She slams the her cell phone down and turns to find her husband standing in the doorway behind her.
(Dad): Whoever gets that’s call is going to think you’re a crazy woman.
(Mom): What do you mean whoever? I called that German boy…get my purse…we’re going to get our little girl.
(Dad): You didn’t call Hans…I changed his number a week ago in your phone.
(Mom): You what?
(Dad): Listen here…Hans is Vanessa’s fiancé. That boy is feelin’ mighty terrible right now and the last thing he needs is us poking in on him unexpected like.
(Mom): No wait a minute…
(Dad): No….you wait a minute. I’m damn sick and tired of this shit.
(Mom): Oh!
(Dad): That’s right I said “Shit!” That boy’s our future son-in-law and you’re going to learn to accept that…enough is enough. Vanessa loves him and that’s enough for us.
(Mom): How dare you speak to me like this…In 33 years you’ve never…
(Dad): In 33 years you’ve never been a bigot. I didn’t marry a bigot, I didn’t marry an old b###h. I married a woman with love and compassion. What’s happened with Vanessa….it tears me up just as much as you but Hans will take care of this. There’s not a damn thing you or I can do about it.
(Mom): Dr. Phillips been our family doctor for years he can…
(Dad): Listen to yourself woman….you think some doctor can help. You saw her…the girls skin turned yellow. There’s no damn Tylenol gonna fix that. This is in Han’s hands and I trust the boy.
Still she looks defiant, getting up and grabbing a piece of luggage from the closet.
(Mom): I’m going…my baby needs me and he’s done enough already.
Suddenly a mirror is smashed and she yelps as she turns to see her husband having thrown something into it.
(Dad): Enough! You listen to me woman…and you listen good. You can tell me to eat soup and salad when I want steak and tatters. You can make me pop pills for my own darn health. You can twist my arm just about any which way in a situation, but make no gosh darn mistake…there’s only one pair of pants in this family and I wear them. I said Hans is going to take care of this and that’s it. I said you’re going to drop this foolishness you’ve been carrying on with about him and that’s it. I don’t want to hear another word about it….not one.
He walks over to her and she has tears in her eyes.
(Dad): God knows I love you more than life itself woman, but don’t push me on this. It’s enough, you know it is…you’re not that boys judge and nobody else…that’s God’s business. Our little girl loves him…so we’re going to love him.
She looks up at him as he wraps her arms around her in the background you can still hear the ppv going on as Talon and McNeil clash and the scene fades to black.
