(Mr. Herrington): Greetings ladies and gentlemen, Robert Herrington for HWA News online. Hot off the heels of a tough day in court Tuesday, rumors from Los Angeles are reporting that Senester will reinstate the Circle of Champions. As many recall the Circle of Champions was initiated in 2010 giving administrative power to HWA Champions as representation to the roster. The assembly was disbanded surprisingly due to the lack of participation by its own members who failed to take advantage of their decision making power.
We should comment that these rumors have not been confirmed. However, with much of his time dedicated to HWA’s legal issues, there are concerns of operational efficiency giving some merit to the rumors. Many are calling this a political ploy by Senester to shed a favorable light on the organization during the trial, others remaking the prospect a step in the right direction.
Should there be a reinstatement, there will be a significant difference from its original make-up, primarily the absence of three champions: the Spotlight and Tag Team Championships remain vacant in inactive divisions. Could it be Ronnie McNeil and Heinrich von Richtoven the respective HWA World Heavyweight and All Star Champions running the show, or will it be some new form of HWA Management. It’s all speculation at this point but the possibility is sending shockwaves across HWA, and we will keep you posted.
