Inside the fires from earlier have been extinguished, an elderly gentlemen is still trying to sweep up the mess. He notices the intruder, and stops what he’s doing to walk towards the front door.
“I hope you’re not here to desecrate this Holy place like the last bastard!”
Stu-E simply shakes his head, holding his arms out. The gentleman turns away and heads back to the cleaning, Price follows him to a pile of ash and rubbish, picking out a part of the picture Michael James had burned just hours previous. Holding it up to his face, he glances at it before sighing, and sliding it into his inside jacket pocket.
For a brief moment he surveys the scene around him, still the smell of burnt wood fills the air. Though the gentleman has gone back to cleaning, he’s not taken his eyes off his most recent visitor. A fact that Stu-E has noticed, so he turns away and walks back out of the church, coming to a rest outside the doors.
“Dead to you? Is that the sort of man you really are, Michael?”
He holds his arms out for a brief few seconds.
“You took great pleasure in telling the World about my perceived weaknesses, how little of a threat I was to you. And yet, you couldn’t beat me. You, Michael James, nationality challenged bad ass that you are, couldn’t put this aging veteran away in a match that probably favoured you. So instead of being a man and finishing this little thing we have, you are choosing to ignore me as if I’ve passed away.
You’re pathetic. You’re like a child who will sit at home playing on his PS3, who gets so far in to his games before getting stuck so he changes the game, and never goes back to finish it. That’s actually what you are, deep down, a pathetic little child.
You’ve got your new game, that All Star Championship, but there isn’t a chance in hell that you and I are done. Judas Mercury can do what he wants with you, Chuckles the Clown will probably try to do even worse to you. And while all this is going on I’ll be there. Maybe I’ll blindside you when one of them gets to you, maybe I’ll blindside you when both of them get to you and maybe I’ll simply allow them to tear you apart, and then choose the time to strike you down.
Right now you are merely the prey being tormented by a far superior predator because I will get to you, and I will be the one to end this, Michael James, if I have to; I will end you, and I when I do it’ll be priceless.”
A few raindrops have fallen upon Stu-E, who pulls up his hood and walks away from the church as the scene fades out.
