Lexi: Good evening, dedicated fans of the Hardcore Wrestling Alliance.
Lexi smiles, her expression laced with a combination of self-assurance and excitement.
Lexi: Please allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Alexis Rose—a name everyone in the HWA locker room, men and women alike, will soon come to respect. I must say there’s quite the impressive roster… Matt Miller, I like you, your aerial skills are in-sans! Mad respect! And your accent!
Lexi mocks fanning herself.
Lexi: I mean what woman doesn’ti like an Irish accent! And I mean I’m all for making a statement but what Maniac did was messed up! I hope you feel better! And, Jeremy Branson! Can I just say? Wow! Any man who can go toe-to-toe with Will Ospreay has already earned my respect.
Lexi looks up in contemplation.
Lexi: Who else do we have? Oh yeah, Stu-E, the British guy that brought his child to the ring? That was a strange decision I think you’ll be regretting in the morning but well done Dragon Draconis! We don’t have a lot of big men in our sport who can properly go but damn, big guy, you’re good! I have to say though, I am a teensy weensy bit disappointed we don’t have a lot of female representation on our roster but it’s fine, girl, guy, she, he, they. I’ll step in the ring with anyone, even you big Dragon!
She winks at the camera. Then, with a deft movement, she sweeps aside her pink jacket, revealing a snug tank top emphasizing every contour of her torso along. Pride beams from her features as she continues.
Lexi: As for me? You might recognize me from my previous exploits in other organisations where I honed skills that few could match.
Lexi nods once, conveying her readiness for future challengers eager to test their own strength and endurance against hers.
Lexi: But now, with the opportunity presented by the HWA and its visionaries?
Lexi allows a small smile to grace her lips.
Lexi: Tonight marks your first preview of what makes me truly unique—of who I truly am. I am the Rose you don’t want to pick. I am here to stay and I am here for success.
Lexi holds her hands up as if reassuring the camera.
Lexi: Now, don’t mistake my confidence for arrogance. I am very happy to be here and I thank Butch and Wisdom Parker for giving me this incredible opportunity and for letting me see out my contractual obligations with Apex Wrestling. And Sarah, Michelle, you ladies seem very nice and you seem to be really good friends and I respect that. And believe me, like I said earlier tonight, it was not my intent to be any sort of distraction or mess with your flow. I like to think of myself as a consummate professional so again allow me to apologize for what happened tonight.
Lexi adopts a more serious tone and expression.
Lexi: Please take this advice though and I hate to be the new girl waltzing in and dishing out pearls of Wisdom. And I get tonight meant a lot to you both, you’ve trained together, come through the infamous HWA Training Academy together to finally get your opportunity under the big lights in front of a massive live audience with God-knows-how-many-thousands watching around the world. But if you want to succeed in this business, if you want to be a champion, you girls need to drop the whole best friends forever act. You both seem really nice and have lots of potential and by all means, I hope we can be friends. But when we enter that ring, I will not hesitate to put either or both of you down with a “Kiss From A Rose” or give you a “Black Rose Bloodbath”. Like I said, I don’t want to come across as all know-it-all-y when I’ve only just arrived but if I’m going to be here for the long haul, I want to help anyone and everyone be the best they can be because ultimately that gives me better competition and helps me grow. And who knows, maybe I’ll see one of you across the ring from me next Havoc. I might even pay a visit to the Academy, see what the all the fuss is about. One thing’s for sure though, this is going to be fun!
Lexi giggles and waves to the camera, winking before turning around and walking of screen as the scene fades to black.
