The laptop itself is resting on the bare chest of Stu-E Price, who is just going through a few things before heading to the airport for another trip back to England. His eyes bear the weight of a couple of late nights, while some may think it's down to the events of Havoc it's actually down to him having a catch up with some old friends, and having a couple of beers too many.
"Fallen, you don't know how lucky you are." He pauses to remember some of the stories from pubs, and smiles.
"If you had done what you did to Michelle in one of my pubs, your head will have been used to open every God damn door on the way out. And when we got to the stairs, you'd be bounced off each and every one of them. We didn't just throw people like you out in to the trash either. If it was a slow night, every member of my security team would take turns pulverising you to the point you couldn't walk. Then your sorry ass would be chucked in to a taxi, we'd throw some money at the driver and he would drive until his meter said the money had run out, and you'd be left."
Price takes a moment. Unfortunately, it was something that he'd been involved with three times in his pub career. While the tone of voice was one of assertiveness it was also rather concentrated and deliberate in a way that he didn't need to raise his voice for the viewer to know that this wasn't a fibracated web of half truths.
"Make no mistake, at this stage of my life I'm just trying to wrestle while the body still works and Laney can see more of the business. But, I've got my own history too, away from business, before Laney was born. In this history is a sprinkling of some very real situations that I had to take down by any means necessary. Dig deep enough and you might find the old Police reports and you can cross reference everything I say.
The one thing all of those have in common is that I always come out smelling like roses, even when I've been deathly in the wrong."
Again he pauses, it's been a while since he's really opened up those old memories.
"So be very careful. At this moment in time you're not under contract so you don't really exist in my World anymore. Whatever road this is leading you and Sean down the only people walking it should be you two.
So until you're back under contract, if you come anywhere near myself or my Daughter I will treat you like the I treated the scumbags in the pubs. That's all I'm going to send out to you regarding this whole mess you've got yourself in with Sean."
Price closes the laptop, as he does the dimmed light is gone and the room is plunged in to darkness as it fades out.
