"I'm not watching this crap all night, Laney." She doesn't offer much of a reply other than a glance up at her Dad and a roll of the eyes as she goes back to watching YouTube shorts on the television.
Stu-E turns his wrist and checks his watch, looks back up at the television and shakes his head. He can't concentrate with the videos playing so he gets up and walks in to the back room.
It's almost like a mini pub set up, a large Volkswagon camper van bar unit takes up the length of the wall and in front of it stands a small oval pub table with short stools. Price sits his laptop down and clears his throat.
"Legion, already you are starting to bore me. The only reason I bothered to watch your promos is because I need to sleep. I recorded a quick promo on the toilet because it's pretty much all you're worth. You're pro-wrestling's equivalent to one of those runny shits that just seems to go on forever after a night on the piss followed by a curry. I've actually had shits that have left more of an impact than you ever will.
I suppose next you're going to tell me you allowed Laney to punch you in the nuts too? Huh?"
Price shrugs his shoulders.
"Clearly you know nothing of my past, I've never claimed to be an angel. There's enough footage out there of me breaking better people than you, there's enough Police reports out there filled with first hand accounts of when I've needed to go too far to prove a point.
A wise man said it's better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war so don't be fooled by my role as a Father. This pay-per-view is the perfect opportunity for me to really let loose.
I'm not even bothered about winning the match anymore, all I'm aiming for is to inflict as much damage as humanly possible. I guarantee both you and your boy, Billy and hell, even me, all three of us are always going to look back on this match as that turning point in our career and the reason it's so hard to move around when we're pensioners.
So listen to the tone of my voice, Legion, get it in to your thick skull. You brought all this on yourself, remember that when you're laying in a heap."
Stu-E sighs, and stops recording, knowing he's also got to go and address Draconis too as the scene fades.
