(Sean): Hey, everyone! It’s LittleRampantLion here, aka Sean Parker, thank you all for joining me this evening for Stream 357! Today, we’re keeping going with Baldur’s Gate 3. For those of you who saw my last stream, we finished up a Platinum run on Elden Ring and I couldn’t honestly wait anymore and went straight into Baldur’s Gate. We did about four hours of it. Obviously we’re nowhere near getting to the main city; from my understanding and seeing other streams, it takes about 60 hours of playtime before you reach that point, so we’re still in the very early-going.
A question pops up, catching Sean's eye.
(Zion_MF86): Hey Sean, what's it like punching CM Punk? What happened at the end of Havoc was bullshit!
Sean chuckles, adjusting his headset as he recalls the intense moment.
(Sean): *smiling* Well, my knuckles are still a bit sore from punching him in the face repeatedly but aside from that, I won't lie, it was very therapeutic! I don’t normally like to badmouth fellow pros and I don’t care what he’s done for the business in the past. Punk is a cancer and I’m glad he’s gone from HWA for however brief a time he was here.
(MadnessPersonified): Hey Sean, big follower and fan of both your streams and your wrestling. I’m so looking forward to your trilogy match with Stu-E Price at Havoc! What's your strategy?
(Sean): Thank you for the question and for the kind comments, Madness! To answer your question, Stu-E and I have had our fair share of battles in the past eight, nine months for sure, but honestly, I've come to know him better outside the ring. Sure, he tries to get under my skin, but it's water off a duck's back for me now. I've learned to focus on the match and not let the mind games affect my game. He likes to wind people up, try and get in their heads and be a wind-up merchant but I’ve come to just pass it off as white noise now. As for the match itself and the strategy, I’m not going to paint a scenic picture of how I’ve spent the last few weeks studying him, watching his matches because I haven’t. Stu-E and I have shared the ring multiple times now that we’re more than familiar with each other’s styles, nuances etc. I’m just going to do what I do every time I step in the ring and that's to have the best possible match I can.
(Lord_of_Mayhem93): Sean, what's your favourite gaming genre and why?
(Sean): I'm a big RPG fan. I love getting lost in expansive worlds, making choices that impact the story, and unravelling epic adventures. RPGs provide that immersive experience that I can't get enough of. Levelling up my character, finding those rare armour sets and weapons, the free-roaming aspect. So yeah, RPGs for sure. Great question by the way!
(Mears4Aces): What are your thoughts on the recent drama between Hans and Erica, Sean? Surely you don’t buy into all that crap she’s spouting?
Sean doesn’t answer straight away. Although he was used to questions about wrestling from his followers on his Twitch streams, this wasn’t exactly something he was keen to get involved in publicly. However, Hans was one of his uncle’s oldest friends and he knew him very well and he wasn’t about to let Erica stain his name with her lies.
(Sean):Look, I respect my uncle and his position, but when it comes to the truth, I won't mince words. I've known both Hans and Erica for a while and I’ll happily go on record and say what she’s accusing him is bullshit.
As Sean gets into his groove and begins his stream and delves back into his gaming adventure, effortlessly balancing the virtual world with his wrestling reality. He periodically stops at certain intervals to interact with more of his followers. He had several thousand subscribers and followers on his channel who would all take the time out of their days to watch and interact with him. The least he could do was make their day with personalised responses.
(RelentlessGamer77): Evening Sean, what's your go-to gaming snack or drink while you're in the zone?
(Sean): Thanks for the question, Relentless! For this one, I’ll need some visual aids! Two seconds!
Sean grins and goes off-screen for a moment before returning moments later, holding up a green-coloured tube of Pringles and an orange-and-blue-coloured can of soda.
(Sean): So, obviously, with what I do, I can’t be eating junk food all the time but whenever I’m gearing up for a big gaming session, I always have to have a tube of sour cream and onion-flavoured Pringles and a couple of cans of good ol’ Irn-Bru!
Sean pops open the tube and buries his hand in the opening, pulling out a handful of the snacks and eating them in all one go, raising his eyebrows in a comical fashion at the camera. The screen is littered with “LMAO”, “LOL” and cry-laughing emojis.
(SaucyJack): Sean, what's your all-time favorite gaming moment that still gives you chills?
Sean puffs his cheeks out and adopts a contemplative look on his face.
(Sean): Wow, Jack, what a question that is! Let’s see…I don’t think I can name just one in all honesty… if you mean like gaming moments in terms of cutscenes or moments from games specifically then I’d have to say…the boss fight with Sniper Wolf in the original Metal Gear is pretty awesome…um…although it’s brutal, Sephiroth killing Aerith in Final Fantasy VII had me in tears! Oh! The scene in Assassin’s Creed 2 when Ezio is speaking to MInerva then she turns away from and looks into the camera to address Desmond! Oaft! Chills! If we’re talking about my favourite moments in gaming from personal experience in terms of what I’ve done, I’d have to say getting every trophy available in Elden Ring on both PlayStation and Xbox, only because you all dared me and didn’t think I’d be crazy enough to go through with it! Also, getting a top ten world record speedrun on Monster Hunter World still makes me proud, especially as the players above me in the rankings were the top four players in the world with Insect Glaive, so yeah… pretty proud of that. Awesome question, Jack. tell you what guys, you all tell me in the comments what your favourite gaming moments are or your best personal achievements, I’ll pick the top three and those will get free tickets for Havoc in Portland on me!
Waves of positive comments pour through with hundreds of Sean’s followers sharing their own favourite moments in gaming. Sean smiles and makes a mental note to go through them later and pick his top three.
(WhyIsEveEven): Do you have any favorite gaming quotes or lines that have stuck with you?
(Sean): Oooh, another great question, Eve thank you, and thank you for the 12-month Prime sub! Favourite gaming quotes? Um…“Time passes, people move. Like a river’s flow, it never ends. A childish mind will turn to noble ambition” from Zelda Ocarina of Time is one of my favourites! Oh, “What is bravery, without a dash of recklessness?” from Dark Souls because it kind of speaks to me on a personal level with the way that I am in the ring. Yeah, that one always seemed to resonate with me. These are awesome questions, you guys, keep ‘em coming!
(UberGrizz): Hey Sean, are there any new releases you're particularly excited about and looking forward to playing?
(Sean): Cheers for the Q, Grizz and for the follow and bits! Yeah, lots of new releases I’m excited for, it’s just finding time to play them all. Believe it or not, I have Starfield on my Xbox but I haven’t played it yet. I’m really excited about Super Mario Wonders on the Switch, erm…Spider-Man 2 on PS5 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage as well should be really fun!
(MetalMegaMike): Sean, have you ever thought about doing a gaming collaboration with another wrestler or gamer?
(Sean): Interesting question, Mike, thank you. I’ve thought about it for sure. I’d love to do one with some of the UpUpDownDown and LeftRightLeftRight guys, you know, Creed, Chugs, Swiss and Breeze! They are so fun to watch when they’re playing Uno together, so who knows, maybe someday down the line you might see me on with them; stranger things have happened, Mike!
(Rurikhan): Hey Sean, when are you planning on proposing to Michelle?
The question comes out of nowhere and catches Sean off-guard so much he almost drops his PS5 controller!
(Sean): Jesus Christ, Ruri, that’s a loaded question! *he laughs nervously* While I absolutely love Michelle to death, we're nowhere near getting engaged at this point, we’ve only been together a few months and we’re just…enjoying our time together, seeing where our relationship goes. I’m still in the early days of establishing a relationship with her parents so heaven forbid how they’d react if I decided to propose…so yeah, baby steps, Ruri! Right…um I’ll read one more question out before we get back to the game, guys, let’s see….ah yeah….
(Gaijinhunter): Sean, where do you see your wrestling career going from here? You’ve got this big match with Price at Havoc but after that, what’s on your radar? Do you see yourself having a big match at Helloween Harvest?
Sean doesn’t answer immediately. It was a good question but one that Sean hadn’t really contemplated. There were no championships in HWA right now otherwise he would’ve said competing for a title. He’d love a match at Helloween Harvest and he knew he, Jeremy and Matt were due to face-off soon to determine who would face Sensei in his retirement match.
(Sean): Well, I’m not looking past Price at the moment, Gaijin. He’s my first priority because a win or a loss against him will probably define where my career trajectory heads next. Obviously Helloween Harvest is one of HWA’s most infamous PPVs so I would absolutely love the opportunity to compete. I know Matt, Jeremy and myself are due to have our triple threat match soon to determine so maybe Helloween Harvest is the place to make that happen? I’ll leave that up to Butch. Thanks again for all those amazing questions guys! Right, let’s get back to it, shall we?
Sean turns his focus back to his game, adjusting his headset and it’s extendable mic, taking a sip from his can of Irn-Bru as the scene fades to black.
