Ok, been waiting for someone to start this topic so I can chime in to share my comment about this series but seem like nobody want to start this topic so let me be the one then heheh...
First off, what is more to say to see Idy makes a come back. It's just like finally a dream have come true. After finish watching this series, I thought the storyline is boring. I guess nowadays it's hard to find a good series like back in the 80s or 90s.
As for Idy's character, sigh... All I can say just happy to see her back onscreen again. No wonder Idy don't even care to be there when they promote the series lol.
It's doesn't make sense to me that all the sudden she wants to move to New Zealand. I mean, when you plan to move to live somewhere far away from your country, at least you gotta know what to do for living over there. It seems to me everything just happen very fast and no need to show the viewer how does it happen or why.
I think if it's not because of Idy appears in this series, it wouldn't draw that many viewers. The storyline is so weak. The young brother/cousin dies at least make me touch but when Jack dies no feeling at all. I mean they just want to wrap it up too fast.
As for Mi Mi and her husband, the misunderstanding b/w them wasn't interesting.
The villiant character wasn't evil enough to make the story more interesting.
I don't know if I would want to rewatch this series. But when I feel miss Idy, I probably rewatch Idy's part only.
