i would love to comment on the series but i've been busy like crazy lately. since you started, let me say something too 
in general, i think the series is enjoyable but not great. lets put it this way: if it wasnt b/c of Idy, i dont think the series is worth watching. dont get me wrong. i really love Damian's character & BT (his cousin). i also thought the cases are interesting. however, i also think it's trying to be interesting. it leaves so much to be desired.
character & acting wise, Jack & BT are the life of the series. enough said.
Idy's character, i have no complaints. even though she just plays a housewife, so simple & ordinary but in many cases, i do think there are extraordinary qualities in an ordinary person.
Idy's acting, I cant say i'm disappointted because she has been out of showbiz for 14 years. that's a long long time. she's good at times and stiff at times, very inconsistent. i also dont feel anythingg about her love for Jack. it looks like she's treating him like a friend. i can feel his love for her, definitely, but not vice versa. it seems like Idy's way of living a religious life has definitely affected her performance in CMN. as a fan, i enjoy her comeback so i have no complaints. i know some others also cut her some slacks b/c she has been away from the screen for so long. however, strictly speaking, her performance in CMN failed to live up to expectations. lets just consider this role as a chance for us to see her again, but don't ask for too much.
