Wow, colong, You READ my mind. The reasons I didn't post comment lately because I don't want to be KILL, LOL 
Like you said, I found the s/l was boring. All the characters including Idy's were boring. If Idy wasn't in there, I never bother to watch the series. There was not much action anyway. The plot was weak and had many errors, specially at the end. Why on earth they would let Jack die for? It didn't make sense.
Idy's character was strong or had any special angels. They didn't bother to pump her character up exchanging for her silliness.
I agree that Idy didn't want to show up for the rating. 
I wish she would come back again with more more mean series and characters. I was disappointing with her role for the first coming back
