Our ECHPA/Chalybeate Summer League finished up this past Thursday. John Neagle was our Summer League champ, edging out Charles Browning by a game and a half.
Patches Awarded:
League Champion- John Neagle
High Average- John Neagle 49.61%
High Game- (Tie) Robert Taylor & Roger Williams (66%)
Sportsmanship- Robert Taylor
Rookie Of The Year- Tammy Neagle
Most Improved & High Game Over Average are yet to be determined.
Ben & A.B. Webb both earned percentage level patches. (30%).
Charles Browning presented a trophy to the player who pitched the highest 4 game set above their average on the final night, which was won by Roger Williams. Roger pitched 42%, 56%, 60% and 66% games.
Charles presented A.B. Webb a set off "real" horseshoes to use in the tournaments next year, haha! We all attempted to throw a ringer with them with no success, although surprisingly A.B. could actually turn them nicely and came darn close!
Charles presented me with a Cracker Barrell gift card which I appreciate very much.
