A State Handicap Championship, the HDCP would be based on 90%. This would be figured by the number of shoes pitched per game multiplied by three, subtract the actual per game average from this total, with 90% of this total being the HDCP. Classes determined by random draw, games of 30 or 40 shoes, again 6 pitchers on 2 courts, no score keeping fees, 36 pitchers per round on twelve courts, move ups, either just the winners or if time allows, second place finishers also. This tournament would be played on the Saturday after the State Singles Tournament, with the Doubles Tournament moved to Sunday. With large numbers of pitchers this could be tweaked to fit with smaller games. As with everything this could be configured to fit our goals.
As a novelty tournament Progressive scoring, a 20 shoe count-all alternate pitch. first eight shoes count as 5 pts per ringer,1 pt. per nearest shoe, second eight shoes count as 10 pts per ringer, 2pts for nearest shoe, last four shoes count as 20 pts per ringer, 4 pts for nearest shoe.
For first time members pitching in their first ever tournament, they must join the KHPA/NHPA, the tournament and score keeping fees would be waved
While I'm not making motions just venting ideas.
