Re: Best Turn AND Flip shoe on the Market - Challenger
The CHALLENGER is a good flip shoe also. I had a lengthy stretch up using it when I pitched a flip and done well. I also dusted it back off again when I was exploring my 1 3/4 turn. It did turn well but I found a couple of problems with this shoe. After moderate use with the 1 and 3/4, the left hook of the shoe was gradually bending inward, thus losing maxx grip to the stake. Those narrow double-sided hooks are just not strong enough to take the abuse. Plus the one shoe on top of another ringers on the stake will squirt the double-sided shoe off the stake. I have always wanted to try the STINGERS in a tournament with the 1 3/4 since they have stronger hooks and a large breaker. The only thing I have noticed with them is that you don't want those heavy hooks to land directly on top of one another or they too will bounce off!
