**It is 4 events for an established player.
* Last year's state does count as one.
* A regular season KHPA event counts as one.
* A regular season sanctioned League session (minimum 400 shoes) counts as one.
* An out of state NHPA sanctioned tournament counts as one.
A NEW pitcher that begins after July can get into the state tournament with 3 sanctioned tournaments pitched. (Since they are new they didn't have the opportunity to pitch the previous year's state)
We will have some state entrants this year with different combinations of these tourneys. Some will have last year's state, a league and two tourneys. Some may have an out of state, last year's state and two in state tourneys. Of course any Junior can pitch as long as they have one event.
Also of Note, anyone is allowed to pitch STATE DOUBLES as long as they have a membership card. Doubles draws fewer people and we need everyone we can get.
I really wish every member including Becky, Randy Wade and others would get into our State Tournament. It really shows good for our state and helps our association a lot. Becky and Randy have both missed it by one as well as some others. I do everything I can to encourage and assist anyone that has the desire to pitch the state tourney to get their events in. I was hoping Randy Wade would come and pitch yesterday and I had hoped Becky might want to pitch state this year but they have to have the desire to do it.
We do need participation.
