Posted by JohnnyC This book will make you rethink the three religions of the book. Christianity, Judaism and Islam. In it he shows the conflicts in the earliest of Christian History. He shows that James and the rest of Jesus' family were the true heirs to Jesus' Messianic movement not Peter and especially not Paul. If one were to be honest he shows Paul to be an actual enemy of the Disciples and does this mainly from within the following sources; The Bible itself Early Christian Writings Josephus the Jewish turned Roman Historian What is amazing is many of the ideas he brought up were things I had already thought of and/or noticed in the New Testament but was unwilling to give thought to as I deemed the very ideas to be heresy. But when I began my quest for truth I decided to do as much research as possible and see where it led me. It is an enormous book with a ton of Scholarly information and to read the whole book you need an extreme interest in these matters. Well I am reading another book about James and I am ordering Part 2 of Eisenman's book which I think begins with the flight to Pella by the Jerusalem Church.
