Wern't the disciples tortured and then put to death with out denying the ressurection? Wern't also their wives and children tortured, raped and murdered right before their eyes and yet they still did not deny the ressurection? Hummm, eyewittnesses to the risen Messiah who was seen by many even as many as 500 people at once....would seem to me to be more than just a concept or idea.
