I read somewhere that civilizations rise and fall through BASICALLY the following stages.
Chaos (Total disorder- areas are ran by the strongest and most violent of men. All of the rest die off or become victims and slaves)
Tyranny (When an area is in Chaos only a strong, have no mercy, leader can bring chaos under control. The measures needed are too drastic for any other type of leader to take make order out of chaos.)
Republic (The people get tired of a tyranical leader and elect succesful, intelligent and Charismatic leaders to reperesent them and make decisions on their behalf. The Republic is the Golden Age of a society.)
Democracy (Which comes to power because the politicians realize they can get richer and more powerful by playing the common uneducated people and giving handouts. Democracy fails because the common people can't govern themselves, if they could we wouldn't need gov't. Which naturally leads us back to no gov't as society crumbles.)
Chaose and repeat.
My point in bringing this up is America is no longer the Democratic Republic it was created to be. We have become more and more Democratic with a modern Fascist and Socialist influence over the last century. As we go down this path Chaos is coming already and coming quickly, we are seeing it in the shools and inner cities but it is growing and growing. We will need a tyrant before long, just to bring America back under control. A scary thought but truth none the less. I doubt that this can be reversed without following the natural course of civilizations. In other words we need to first go through Chaos and tyranny to regain the Republic. I will say it is an interesting time to be alive in America....
It is almost a good thing that Obama got elected as he will hasten our journey towards chaos with the socialist changes he is likely to make. MAYBE just MAYBE he will try to do it too fast and the American people will realize what is happening and insist upon a return to a Capitalist Democratic Republic.
