Dear Professor Holmer,
Would you mind to clarify the definition of not identically zero? Since I am a bit confused by the hint of Exercise 4, where if we have $f$ is zero except for a set of measure zero, or in particular say $f=\chi_{0}$, I have a hard time coming up with a ball $B$ where $\int_{B}|f|>0$.
