I'd like to personally thank all the right-wing nutball purists out who refuse to tolerate moderation in their ranks and pushed the Republican candidate from New York's 23rd district out of the race in favor of the carpetbagging Conservative Party emissary. It was extraordinarily gracious of you to forfeit a slam-dunk victory and allow those of us in the majority party to add one more foot soldier in our ever-growing army.

Tim Pawlenty....THANK YOU!!!

Dick Armey....THANK YOU!!

Club for Growth.....THANK YOU!!

And special thanks to former "moderate" New York Governor George Pataki, whose endorsement of Hoffman was the final act of betrayal for Republican Scozzafava who dropped out of the race, left the party, and endorsed the Democrat. Without generous kamikaze GOP pilots like these guys, we Democrats would not continue to our unwavering streak of picking up seats at your expense.
