We lived in a suburb of Sacramento (in a housing tract) for 15 years. Not quite a condo situation, but 1400-1600 sq. ft. homes spaced no more than 25 feet apart sideways down street after street. We had some good neighbors who became friends, but incidents like this were a big part of our decision to get out.
