Most people instinctively think we moved here for clean air, lack of traffic, outdoor recreation, low crime, etc. While those things are important, the single biggest reason was that we never wanted anyone knocking on our door unannounced ever again. That includes family, friends, salesmen, JWs, and especially neighbors.
