I know its all about the scheduling, and this is more constructive criticism for next season then a gripe for this season...but yesterday we had only one game....the team after us, Green Mile, had a forfeit....they didnt get to play at all...so they made a wasted trip....it would have been nice to have us play against eachother and it count. One of the biggest drivers for keeping Rokel in this league is doubleheaders, especially when we drive 30-60 minutes to get to a game, or when a team shows up for one game only and its a forfeit. Same thing next week...one game at Auth Road for us...60 minute drive...48 minute game....just not worth it to me in the end....just something to think about for next season.
Two games minimum....three if necessary. If we cant get a minimum of a doubleheader, then give the team a BYE...i would rather spend the time at home with the wife and kids then to play just one game or have to take a forfeit and make a wasted trip.
To me, the USFTL points dont matter as much to me as playing time. I just want to play some football as do many others....
