You guys are my bro's, and I will always help out.
I know it seems like crying....but in this economy, driving 30-60 minutes one way, and with wives' and girlfriends' that whine about playing too much football, watching too much football, not spending enough time with the kids...blah blah blah...sometimes I just want to play football. I felt bad for the other team, as they wanted to scrimmage us, but our coaches said no, because it wouldnt count...and no sense in getting hurt in a scrimmage when we are in the middle of the season. But if we could have made it count, that would have been great.
There are other leagues in the area, but they dont listen to the players...at least you guys listen and try to make it happen. Im just saying for next season, if we cant get a doubleheader, especially if its at Auth Road, then give us a Bye...
Ive been spoiled for the last 3 years with the doubleheaders...so anything 'less' is a let down....no offense to you guys as you have plenty on your plates....but again, just something to consider.
