Phil,I do not teach anyone to box the way I boxed.I teach fundamental correctness. Was I a champion -yes,I was NABF JR. Lightweight champion and Texas Featherweight CHampion with a record of 50-7-1 as a professional boxer, while having almost 200 amateur bouts and winning a silver medal at the Olympic Trails. My point is that being qualified to teach boxing to young kids comes with great responsibillity as a coach. If a coach can not teach a boxer how to get in a stance, move all four directions while throwing a ten punch arcenal correctly he should not be allowed to work corners with a boxer. I know and have known Angelo Dundee for 40 years. He has great communative skills and was a cut man for 15 years befor he became a manager of boxers. His brother Chris was a great trainer and Angelo was a great student of the game .Angelo is an exception rather than the rule,as was several others who had access to some of the greats in this sport. You are one of the guys who just dont get it.But it is OK because it does not make you a bad guy,it just makes you another of thousands who do not have access and over the past 20 years have destroyed Americas amatuer program.....God bless....kenny weldon
